for Supervisors & Managers (1/2 day course)
Workplace bullying & harassment continue to be serious problems within many Australian workplaces notwithstanding some positive legal changes over the past few years.
These negative and unsafe workplace behaviours can have devastating effects on individuals and organisations. We are seeing more workplace bullying and harassment complaints, investigations and claims than ever.
Educating your supervisors and managers on bullying and harassment is a must. Your supervisors and managers essentially the lynchpins of your business. In our experience, you can have the best policies and procedures in the world but if your supervisors and managers are not “on-board” and have limited knowledge about being a good leader, the potential for negative workplace behaviour, complaints and claims will increase dramatically.
This ½ day training program builds on the basics within our Bullying & Harassment course and focuses on the importance of good leadership. This course takes supervisors and managers to the next level – educating them on the risks, the responsibilities and the importance of being proactive and managing their workers fair and reasonable way. Importantly this course provides further insight into the relatively new legal concept “Reasonable Management Action”.
The course content/time length is flexible and can be aligned to your organisation’s policies and procedures and be tailored to ensure it covers any concerns your organisation may be facing.

This course is presented in plain English by lead facilitators who are legally trained with a background in workplace relations and safety law and HR.
Our facilitators have considerable experience dealing with real cases, investigations and legal matters involving bullying and harassment in the workplace – we understand the risks and challenges and share our experiences and insights.
Our in-house training service provides you with a flexible and cost-effective approach to learning where we bring our experts to you and minimise time away from the workplace. We can also arrange training sessions off-site if that is preferred.

Course prices start from $2790 (+ GST) for the half day program with up to 40 attendees. The price of the course will depend on the number of attendees to be trained, the length of the session required and whether any course tailoring is required.
